From Boston:

Take I-93 north from Boston. Then take exit 44A to merge onto I-495 N toward Lawrence. Go 9.6 miles and take exit 49 (Rte 110 east/River Street) off I-495 N. Follow through two sets of lights. This road turns into Washington St. To park your automobile, take a right just after you pass under the RR bridge, at the blue "P" sign, into the city parking lot located just behind the building. Approximately 40 minutes driving time from Boston.

From Manchester NH and points north:

Take I-93 South to Rt. 213 and go east for 3.3 miles. Take Exit 5B to Haverhill/NH/Maine and bear right onto I-495 North. Proceed to exit 49 (Rte 110 east/River Street) off I-495 N. Follow through two sets of lights. This road turns into Washington St. To park your automobile, take a right just after you pass under the RR bridge, at the blue "P" sign, into the city parking lot located just behind the building.

From Worcester MA and points west:

Bear right on I-290 and go northeast for 13 miles to I-495 North. Proceed exit 49 (Rte 110 east/River Street) off I-495 N. Follow through two sets of lights. This road turns into Washington St. To park your automobile, take a right just after you pass under the RR bridge, at the blue "P" sign, into the city parking lot located just behind the building.

From surrounding communities:

The Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority offers bus transportation in Haverhill and surrounding communities from Lawrence to Newburyport. The MVRTA also connects to the Lowell Regional Transit Authority. Route schedules are available at many locations throughout the Merrimack Valley. Call 978-469-1254 for more information.

By Commuter Rail:

The Tap is accessible by Commuter Rail from North Station via the Haverhill line (Schedule). The Tap is located just across the road from the Haverhill Commuter Rail station.

Downeaster Train:

The Tap is also accessible by the Downeaster which runs between North Station and Portland ME with a stop in Haverhill (Schedule). The Tap is located just across the road from the Rail station.
